A group of people own a single piece of property (or in this case a beach house) but they share it by giving each person specific times to visit it. (like have seven people buy it, and give each person a day of the week where they can use it)

That would be cool, but what about the whole editing thing? Would each person have to edit it every time to their liking?
And I know this is kind of off topic, but would the beach houses be built on those pine trees on the beach?

There could be save preferences where when person A has the house, he can save his things under "tab a" person b has "tab b" and so on so when its your time, you click your tab (and maybe a button) and the room transforms to whatever preference you had.

Yeah, but the other people/person's tab(s) would have to be locked so that the current owner(s) wouldn't edit anybody else's.

Timeshare are done with a group of friends so there wouldn't need to be a lock option.
Or we could have beach houses, have every citizen have a day when they can visit, have the inventory be filled with all kinds of unique furniture and they could customize it. When the next person whats to change it, they can. Then when they want people to come, they send to people a "limited time" address where they can only visit the particualr time the owners has the house.
