I think it would be good if your food or drink disappeared. So, say I'm drinking a beer, and I finished it. I drink again, but the hand comes back down, and my character would make a sad face for five seconds, telling me there's nothing left.
I decide to get an Ice Cream. I lick it, and keep licking. Oh noes! It's all gone! It wouldn't be good to just eat the Ice Cream. The cone is just as nice. *Munch**Munch*
Same thing for the beer could happen to the Cocktails.

it would be great to implement this idea. Its not really fair if we had editable items that have unlimited uses.

you would have to do that in rl anyways, why not add it here? besides the cost of each item is very minimal.

Great idea. You shouldn't be able to sip on a beer forever.
Maybe a small icon on the left of the screen telling you how much you have left? A Beer-O-Meter? Ha ha.
I can't think of a funny name for the ice cream one, though. |
