If you mean did I need to check every sing le report just to know if he'd been spamming, then no.
Its extremely irritating though.

After learning that(Before someone makes a joke I did read find out in a comic book) Great power comes with greater responsibility I eventually decided to stop reporting and just watch them and if no one reports them and they run away I'll try to contact a mod of something.
Note that a certain percentage of this is because I'm lazy.

I don't agree, you should always report if you can, but only if you warn the person and it doesn't stop. (Ignore this step for serious cases.) If it is already doing whatever it could do when you enter the room, ask if somebody has already reported it. I'm sure a single report is less trouble for a mod than a PM.

Some of you clearly aren't getting it still - just had another whole page full dedicated to one bloke 
I'm getting so annoyed with this the next few people that do it are likely to get a ban of some indeterminable length.
I know some users who log on to BTC and do this don't read the forum so Ive thought of a cunning way around the problem - tough for them.
That's about it really.

lol - ones a room log and one's a user log. The full log option is there for all reports and lets us check what was said after the report takes place (they used to cut off as soon as the report was made)
