Psh, I don't have the slightest idea of who will be in my classes, other than 2 people.

We don't get notified of what school supplies we need until the 2nd day of school. >_>
My backpack weighs like, nothing.

Technically I only knew what to get for one class. I just guessed on the rest.

Ouch.

I thought I'd hate chemistry and the teacher, but I love both. The teacher is really lax about what we do in class, and we get to play with equipment every week in labs. Very Happy

nice, my chemistry teacher (from earlier posts) lets me and my friend work with potassium and water (to see what happens when you mix the two, click here)

If you mix any Alkali metal with water, it causes an explosion.
What causes this?

Science Corner: Well the alkali metal (for this example, we'll choose Potassium), oxides with the water to form potassium hydroxide and water (H^+1 ion). The reaction also produces alot of heat (in a form of O^-2) (since its an oxidation reaction). The O^-2 and H^+1 react with each other. The heat generated causes the reaction to ignite, thus causing the explosion.

Also as you go down the alkali metals (in the periodic table) the bigger the explosion is (see this video to see how big it is.)

Its still fresh in my memory (since it was at the end of the school year).
Seeing the container it was in explode made it worth taking the class.

Well, P.E is like a 3rd lunch break to me.

All I do at the other lunch breaks is sports anyway.

KS3 Business Studies.

It's awesome. It's a club though. As an end of year project before the summer, we had to draw a product, and see how many people would buy it, then we had like these fake money pieces, and started off with £1,000. Then we had to try sell our product, giving us more money to buy other people's. In the end, I came 5th out of 24 of us with my product: "XStation 3." It's a games console which has better features than any other console. It has ChooRay, which is a HD HD HD Player. And plays games from ANY console, new and old as long as it isn't a handheld console. It has internet, 90G Storage, and even has an tPhone free with it, which can connect wirelessly to the XStation. But if you have any other MP3, requires a cable that plugs into the headphone slot. You get a cable free with it.
