Original: Fairly linear, Arrows to move the bears and a select few options, probably harder.
New: Open-ended, Click anywhere on the screen to move the bears, and an inventory where you can mix stuff and pick things up.
I personally probably would prefer the 'old' style for full on missions but would like to see the mini-adventures of the warbears in BTC continue along the 'new' dynamic. I don't think the new style would translate well into lengthy missions personally.
Vote now, and give a lengthy explanation like myself if you so desire! _________________

i really enjoyed the new style, it was very surreal trying a different technique of playing the game, but with the same characters, it was very exciting and i hope to see Gio use this method again in his games, like ben said i wouldn't like to see this style of playing take over, but i would be very happy to see it used again. _________________

I agree with Ben, having both styles used in the future. I look forward to playing more adventures and missions. _________________ Hans' Comics. The best among the rest. |

Old for missions, But the new for longer, more important Adventures, that impact the story... Like an adventure styled mission once and a while. _________________

I prefer originals. It's much easier to choose the Warbears' options. _________________ I can haz updatez? |

I like both styles, and think they're used in the correct way; adventures, which are basically just sidestories, can incorporate BTC and give the player more freedom with movement and options. This means they're shorter and easier, which is fine as they're just smaller games in between the big and difficult missions following the single storyline. The mission style is more of a puzzle than the adventures. _________________

I think the adventure style would be my pick. I always liked roaming. _________________

I love Adventures' controls though they can be even better refined and they can also open up new puzzle/action sequences in future missions.
About refinement, items you can interact with shouldn't already have their names pointed out. The names should only appear after interacting with them. And items you can interact with should glow when you hover your cursor over them.
Items with limited interactions should only be point and click with complex items having the usual menu pop-up that has you pick an option. |

I loved the new style but i think for the mission type games you should keep the old style |

Not necessarily. As it stands in the missions, everything is menu driven. Including moving the Warbears themselves.
The Adventures styled gameplay actually sped up gameplay though Ioji had to add more material to cover for the sudden speed up of the gameplay.
So in a way the Adventures controls were refreshing and allowed Ioji to put in more content than usual. Imagine Adventures if it kept the actual Mission controls. A simple 15 minute jaunt could have doubled to 30 minutes or more because of the amount of menus you had to cycle through just to move the Warbears alone. |
