This is an idea I saw a lot on the old BTC ideas thread.
We could have beer/ice-cream fridges as buy-able items of furniture, except maybe they could appear more like mini fridges than the large ones at the bar and beach.
That's the core idea, but there are more things we can elaborate on such as;
The price of the beer/ice-cream. The owner could set the price.
Being able to collect the credits. As a kind of vending machine, you could be able to take the credits that people have used to buy the beer/ice-cream.

Any more ideas people would like to add are welcome, so get posting! Smile

Nice idea! But what do you think the price range might be?

Well, I don't think the price range should go up too high, if there is to be any. However, whether or not they're free is also something to think about.

Wouldn't that result in people giving credits to other people on purpose?

Exactly why it's just a small idea to consider, but that would be a major problem. It's probably better off that no one gets the credits.
Perhaps it could be free or one credit, but you're quite right, I think that would cause problems.

Okies, let's clarify;

Beer/Ice-cream fridges in our houses. They resemble mini-fridges. The beers/ice-creams are free or one credit.

The ice-cream one isn't bad.
Anyways, I'll make my own at some point.
Still, they don't have to be beer/ice-cream things. They could be vending machines that sell soda or any number of imaginable things.

Here's what I think it would look like if they weren't mini-fridges and just stayed the same. Personally, I rather like it. Smile

Couldn't they look like the fridge in Mission 2?

Maybe the credit can go to the owner of the house. Like vending.

I think that when you buy a mini-fridge it should be empty at first. However, when you buy a warbeer, ice cream or lava cocktail you have the option to store it in the mini-fridge. There should be a limit of maybe 5 or 10 items in there, and clicking on the mini-fridge gives you the options to what item you want to get. Smile

If you feel selfish, you can have the lock option on the mini-fridges so that only you can get the items. Grin grin

I like the storing and locking idea, but there needs to be a bigger storage limit.
Still, there could be a vending machine which is a completely new item. Dispenses soda, costs a tiny bit, possibly free. All good ideas, guys. Smile
