How many of us know what is actually in the food that we are eating? I got put off eggs, even free range ones, when I saw how eggs were hatched. Some free-range eggs are born in the cruelest of environments.
Has anything ever put you off food, that you saw on TV or heard on a radio? _________________ They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!

So are you suggesting that we should watch what foods we eat or are we suppose to watch how the food comes to our plate?

What is in our food: well, most hot dogs are pure meat, and usually healthy with no artificial whatsits, but some are full of bone and saturated fat etc...
But, How it comes to our plate: This is a different matter. Like I said earlier about the eggs, we just presume that 'free range' eggs mean that there are chickens roaming around at will, but sometimes, it means that there are a hundred chickens in a huge shed, stepping in other chicken's leavings and on dead chickens...
So... both really... kind of. O
Also, mark, the fridge blowing up is hilarious, but at the same time worrying because
1 you could have been hurt and
2 worrying amounts of co2 emissions
By the way, I am not an eco-maniac _________________ They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!

Like swallowing chewing gum - not only could you choke, but if it manages to get into your stomach, it takes up to three years to decompose in there...
sorry for double posting - getting an urgent point across _________________ They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!

It can't be that urgent - use the friggin' EDIT button. Located *points* RIGHT THERE.
I love eggs; the eggs I buy are organic free-range. Obviously I wouldn't know if the company I buy from is lying to me, but whatever. I doubt that they are. _________________

I don't eat vegetables anymore. The way they're harvested is so cruel!
They hack off the roots. They Freeze them!
It's all so cruel. They could at least wait 'till the vegetables naturally die.

I like eggs. And I have no sympathy for the ways live animals turn into food. _________________
