There is one man who makes my blood boil, oh that Pepper Brancacane! I really want to vote for him, he has sinned quite a bit, his biggest sin, not giving this old lass any attention for a WHOLE year! How is this lass supposed to live with so little attention?!

The sun lay low on the horizon. The entire town had been out in the streets arguing all day. The rotting corpse of Knyh had been propped up by the door to the bar, a few nice-smelling flowers stuffed in his hands to hide the smell, and immediately forgotten. Some threw names about without a care for reasoning, others calmly stated they shouldn’t kill anyone yet, and a vocal few preyed on an easy target. Claims of sexual harassment in the workplace, thievery and just plain ignorance were shouted into the air. Such a storm brewed up that Pepper himself was even calling for his death, although he had been out in the hot sun all day, eating all the Baker’s pastries as the shop was unguarded. Who knows what he was thinking, or what he thought he was cheering for.
In truth, Pepper hadn’t done anything wrong, but if anyone was going to die, of course it made sense that it be him. When logic and reason were applied and it generally decided to be a stupid idea, this was treated as treason by some of the more bloodthirsty citizens. How dare they deny us our lynching with such things as common sense???. Murder was the only option, of course they should kill people. Many arguments later lead to an agreement. Nobody would die today, it was simply too early. Tomorrow was a different story though; Public murder was going to happen, if they could just agree on a target.

Day 1 has ended. Nobody died.
