I can't imagine creating more chaos than by giving mod powers to everyone on a stats check without hand-picking. _________________ Unlike in BTC, repeatedly leaving and entering the forums does not bring better topics. |

That's why mods are for.
If the mods really want to take some stuff of their shoulders Ioji
should have more mods. _________________ Time to throw out that stupid Assasins Creed sig...

Yeah it would have too be hand picked.
On forums sometimes they have things called "Minimods."
If anything it would probably be trusted members. _________________ Wow BTC is back and all I got was this lousy signature. |

What tells you they have too much work? I don't remember seeing any of them complaining.
They have plenty of applications, if they need help they'll choose a new mod. _________________ Unlike in BTC, repeatedly leaving and entering the forums does not bring better topics. |

Lol, you realize that by enabling certain users to have certain powers, you're creating even more chaos and confusion and work for the mods?
Yeah, nice try. This isn't ever going to happen. _________________

Good enough explanation for me.
But how would it cause more work? _________________ Wow BTC is back and all I got was this lousy signature. |

If someone messes up, such as by warning an user for bad causes, letting an offensive picture slip through, or the reverse situation, there's going to be lots of PMs from angry citizens, and cleanup to do. It's probably easier to do all the work yourself than having to watch over someone's shoulder constantly, for at least you know when you're done. _________________ Unlike in BTC, repeatedly leaving and entering the forums does not bring better topics. |

Because we'd have to monitor and keep track of every individual with any sort of power. As power is distributed out to more and more users, the chance of abuse increases. In the end, it's just more work for mods. _________________

If their hand picked there would be less abuse. _________________ Wow BTC is back and all I got was this lousy signature. |

That already exists. They're called moderators. _________________ Unlike in BTC, repeatedly leaving and entering the forums does not bring better topics. |

Then we'd mod them. At this time, there are probably only two people I'd personally trust with any sort of power.
Taco is not one of them, so you can stop hinting about it . _________________

Also, the current mods are not complaining about the workload.
If they need extra help, they'll just hire a new moderator.
Simple as that.
Also, watch how you title things. If i didn't read the first post, i could have sworn you were asking for extra powers... _________________

Lemme guess:
On second thought, I can't think of one guy. _________________

Personally. It might not be active users, or people who are considered mod-worthy by the bulk of the community.
But we're not here to speculate on the next mod now. _________________ Unlike in BTC, repeatedly leaving and entering the forums does not bring better topics. |
