I'm not sure if this would particularly work but, as a lot of people get hacked, this would be quite handy.
I think, maybe. when you create an account, you have to type in your computers IP address, so it can only be used off the computer you set it too. Maybe, to find your IP address there could be a button saying "Find this computers IP address. It takes a minute to search, then comes up with the correct one. If you were to get a new PC, and needed to change it, go on "edit profile".
So, the IP address can only be changed using the IP address you are currently using.
And if you wanted to go on your friend or families computer, maybe you could set a secondary IP, if you can't use the one you set it too at that time.

We may not like "noobs", but they still have the same rights as us.
It is, essentially, a childrens game... and children don't know how to find their IP address. So Ioji would actually be scaring away his target audience. _________________

Well, maybe, there could be a button saying "Find this PC's IP adress"
It searches for a minute then it comes up with your IP. _________________

This would just complicate things in a way. It would be almost just as easy for everyone to register, even noobs. Also, you couldn't log in from another computer if you didn't have the "Secondary IP" on.
This is a no. _________________ Punch a duck |

That's why you put the secondary IP on. _________________

How would the secondary IP work?
1. Put it on, and you can log in from any computer.
2. Put it on, and you can log in from the next computer you log in from, not the following ones.
3. Put it on, and you have to insert the secondary IP (e.g. your friend's IP).
Any of those, or did you have something else in mind? _________________ Punch a duck |

You would have you put a secondary IP address up, or, there could be a "No other IP's needed" button.
Once you put it up, when you are using that PC, it will let you use it. Maybe, to use the secondary IP, you had to equip a password? _________________

That's what the secondary IP is for. _________________

The problem is that each IP address is stored differently from computer to computer.
And what if you have an encrypted IP adress?
Also, not many people know where it is.
Last, the ability to have only a few, selected IP's is good in concept, but its not practical.
I have a laptop so i can go to any wifi hotspots and go on the internet from there.
How would i find out that IP address?
Better yet, i'm only limited to a few, predetermined areas?
Besides, the mods have the ability to check IP addresses to see of a particular account has been hacked. _________________

I'd love to see your statistics
I must've seen about two genuine accounts in the last year, and neither were really 'hacking' they were just siblings/friends going on accounts after the user told them their password, which is plain silly _________________
