Another idea that probably wont go down well, but meh.
How about ghosting in our OWN houses? So we could see who is in there and what they're doing.

I personally think its a useless tool for me. Nobody wants to be in my house but it'll be cool to use!

It would be quite fun to use, such as acting like a ghost flicking on and off the lamps and say "Boo!". 
It is a bit useless apart from the fun, but I don't see any negatives with it.

Well, ghosting isn't actually fun, because you can't interact with anything and even when you could, people can't see you do it. It's purely a practical tool we use, it's really not that exciting

No, it's very rare that people will choose to go to someones private apartment while they are not there, making this whole feature obsolete.

Yeah, but that's because HoH proved I have the best apartments in BTC. Not everyones' apartments are as awesome as mine, therefore this feature will only be remotely useful to a small amount of people. And anyway, if I'm online and there are people in my house, I'm there. I'm never leaving people alone in there if I'm online, so the ghosting feature is of no use to me, and I can't see it being of any major use to anyone else either.
