Of course not.
You're just to lazy to type the bloody thing. It's a appropriate name. _________________ ^captincroc |

I've noticed (having just completed 6 pages of what can only be described as the most frivilous of reporting) that many of you don't really know in what situation to use the report function.
It is only right in the case of more minor offences (such as mild overuse of caps or the repetition of a line once) to verbally warn the offender as opposed to gleefully warning someone just because you can.
If they continue and ignore you THEN use the report function. Many times users are warned having no idea theyve done anything wrong.
This has reached a ridiculous level and is ruining many peoples fun (as I was in a rare foray into the park and had a bit of a singalong with some regulars I was reported 3 times )
I'd very, very much like all of this to stop. |
Maybe this should be a rule.
I know that i try doing that, if we can get everyone else to maybe BTC would be a different place. _________________

It could go in the guide. Not a "cute" clickable link, but like a quote. _________________ |

What i would like to know for quite some time now: do you also have to give a warning if someone swears?
Cause there are lots of people who swear once and when you say it is prohibited, then they go like :"you can't report me! Nobody warned me yet!" and that really annoys me sometimes.
I understand it's fair to warn people first when they use CAPS or repeat a sentence a little bit too much, but people who swear, while feeling themselves protected because of the always-first-warn-system, what do you have to do with that? |

If they say stuff like that they obviously know the rules so I would say you ca nreport them. |

If she made a report for no reason, she'll get a warning and not you.
And what has your first question to do with the topic? |

.......
I should know these things...
EDIT: I still haven't got a very clear answer on my first question yet. Can you report people for swearing without a warning, if it's obvious that they knew the word would be censured? |

If it's a one off, it's always best to give them a warning first, but if they're swearing nonstop and don't appear to be anywhere near stopping, just report _________________

Ok, thx.
People who think they are protected by the warning system if they swear, are sometimes really annoying. |
