What if we had an anti spam function? A function that after say 4 or 5 times, it automatically stops the user from saying the same thing over and over. Like the flooding function, only with spamming and swearing _________________

wouldnt work.
what happens when there is a currency question on quizaboom? ...I go in to rapid-fire.
Dollar
rupee
pound
lira
quetzal
guilder
krona
krone
etc.
etc.
If it only kicks off after repeating the same thing, spammers would follow a pattern:
up, enter, up up, enter, up up, enter, up up, enter
...aslong as both words are different, it would be easy to bipass. |

Suggestion:
If someone says the exact same thing multiple times within a short period of time, a number stored on the server increases. (the value depends on how much)
If someone swears, the number also increases. (+1/word?)
When the number is above a certain limit, you can't say anything. (+3 or 5?)
The number decreases over time (-1/hour?)
This would of course be difficult to implement, though. _________________

If Ioji can get a server to update when a specific word is said, getting it to be filtered with *'s or just removed altogether should be a peace of cake .. |

A Vote Kick system could help but then you could get a group of Noobs voting everyone out... _________________

Vote-Kick would never work, but I do like the idea of spammers getting removed automatically. _________________

What about comics?
If the sentence doesn't fit in just one bubble you need to say it multiple times. _________________ "I admit my Fronch cod be butter." - Officer Crabtree, 'Allo 'Allo. |

It's incredibly easy to bend.
"alsjkdasldjslajskldjaskljdklsdjkladjskladjasldjal!!!"
is different from
"alsjkdasldjslajskldjasklidklsdjkladjskladjasldjal!!!"
Can you spot the difference? _________________

Well, maybe there could be a filter, where if enough of the sentence doesn't make sense, it's spam. |
