I'll be happy as long as they get rid of Hammijerk.

Other than that, please, please, PLEASE keep this topic open!

Hamilton's the best thing to happen to British F1 in ages.

I'd like him if it wasn't for the fact that the bbc commentators never shut up about them.

Don't you mean ITV?

And best thing to come out of F1? Please.

If it isn't his arrogance, it's his mistakes and disrespect for other drivers. The commentators suck up to Hamilton so much, it makes me sick. James Allen for one. Last race, just because little Hammijerk didn't even get on a podium, they skip the press conference. Seeing as this was Heikki's first win, none of the commentators gave a flying monkeys.

So please, don't say he's the best thing to come out of F1. Because really, he isn't.

You can't deny that he's an amazing driver.
And I hardly think you can blame him for everyone fawning over him.
He did come close to a first year win, which no one has ever done.
I'll admit, he makes mistakes, but who doesn't?

I will admit, he's a good driver. He needs a bit more experience, but I'm sick of ITV. I can't help thinking BBC will be the same next year. [They have the rights for F1 next year]

I hate the way they compare him to Schumacher. And Senna. [I've seen vids of him racing]

James Allen should be kicked off the commentary job. He is so biased.

But Hammijerk calling the drivers Monkeys was totally out of line. He needs to learn some respect. My friend went to Good Wood, he WAS a Hamilton fan. He didn't even speak to any of his fans. He isn't a fan now. I've always admired Kimi, but it seems he's losing intrest, and isn't caring. It might be just me, though.

I miss Juan Pablo Montoya! I know that he was arrogant but there was more fun with him.

Okay, I will now prove Hamijerk's disrespect for drivers. I found this article.

Earlier inthe 2007 season, Hamilton was interviewed on how his life was after coming into Formula One. In this interview Hamilton stated that his number one fear was being "held up by one of the monkeys at the back of the field."

Psh.

A fabulous race from Vettel yesterday. He's taken out arrogance [Lewis], and replaced it with pride. My new favourite driver. Someone who drives with confidence, and doesn't brag. I swear, Lewis is pissing me off. I dunno how many times he tried to push people to over take them. He makes me sick.

He keeps shooting himself in the foot.

"No one over takes me...." I believe Kimi managed it..And Massa
"You should see how well I do in the wet." Yep, totally. Brilliant qualifier, mate.
"I get held up by the monkeys at the back of the field" Yeah. Right. Who started at the back of the field yesterday?

True F1 fans have brains to not support this jerk. As soon as he comes on the scene, F1 fans boost by the millions. Just to see some arrogant **** say things about other drivers, and say he is the best of the lot, and saying he comes 2nd next to Shuey. Pfft.
