In the wake of the murder in Verona, its people were generally quite apathetic. While Roxie advocated for the death of Miniman, the rest of the town couldn't care less, and went about their daily lives.

A man staggered out of the bar late that night, struggling to find his way home. Before he could, a shadow slipped from the alley beside him, and a knife slipped between his ribs. He was found the next morning, his robes stained with blood, and the seal of the House of Montague carved into his forehead with some skill.
Welcome to Day Two.
Simon was killed in the night. He was Friar John, a Drunk Role Cop.

Nothing to see here.
A drunk man wandered through Montague lands, stumbling as one is wont to do after a jolly night. His path was met with a rock in the road, causing him to stumble forward, stabbing himself on one of those fancy torch sconces that we have in this here medieval time. This, of course, did not immediately kill him and imbued with the power that only alcohol can bring he continued on his way, slowly bleeding out.
Finally, he had lost too much blood, he fell forward. Straight into the Montague's front gates! His forehead pushed into the seal found on them, carving itself into his forehead.
He lay to his final rest, bearing the injuries that we now see upon this body.
Those machiavellian manipulators who are trying to use this tragedy to start a fight against the good people of the Montague family are morally reprehensible and should not be tolerated in the walls of Verona. |

The 'role' of mayor does not exist, but I think that we as a town can benefit from a democratic leader to show us the road forward. Maybe we need new rulings on how many drinks a pub can sell to a single patron? Maybe we town planning needs to fix our roads? Maybe we should stop putting spikes on sconces? There's a lot to improve here and I definitely feel like we need someone to lead the way on these projects whoever that may be. |
