Nope, you'd still have to work around it. _________________

if you're stuck on whether or not to report that pesky citizen, refer here for more information.
BEFORE reporting:
Consider ignoring the user if s/he is not really breaking any rules (severely, that is)(for example, leaving and entering repeatedly; excessive clapping)
Verbally warn the user before reporting (except for obvious offenses such as swearing)
Be nice
DEFINITELY report if:
The user swears (indicated by three asterisks "***" or obvious misspellings of a swear word)
The user uses excessively inappropriate, violent, racist, and/or sexual language
The user spams (the same phrase repeated more than 3 times in quick succession, gibberish "asdfghjkkl;", single letters)
The user admitted to being a multi (PMing a moderator if you are unsure is perfectly acceptable)
ALSO DO report if:
The user uses caps EXCESSIVELY and does not stop after you verbally warn him/her first
The user uses mildly offensive and/or abusive language (with or without swears) and does not stop after being asked to stop
The user seriously pretends to be an administrator/moderator and uses that role in an abusive way
The user begins talking about inappropriate topics (i.e. drugs, etc.) and does not stop after being asked to stop
The user is repeatedly entering and leaving the room and it is Room 1
DO NOT report if:
The user is idling (currently not against the rules, as annoying as it may be)
The user is blocking the entrance, fridge, or in your favourite spot
The user is clapping and kissing excessively (turn off your sound or ignore the user)
The user called someone "stupid" once (or any other "mild" word)
The user googled an answer in Quizaboom
The user divorced you to marry some jerk in the Blue District
The user is an eyesore
AFTER REPORTING, please:
Ignore the user
Do not report more than once (three or more for the same user/offense and you get a nice shiny red bar)
Do not report if another user has already reported the perp (although it is entirely possible that several users will try to report at once)
Do not insult or abuse the user
Post any reporting questions or concerns here. For example, if you accidentally reported the wrong user, you may post that here.
Getting a red bar for "Inappropriate use of the report function" may depend on which mod does the report; however, generally, we will not give you that red bar if you report someone for overuse of caps (and it isn't really that much) or saying a swear word that was unintentional, or for idling (as that used to be officially against the rules).
When in doubt, PM a moderator with the username. This is important, as we currently cannot access the user's log without their username. |
You know what would be cool? If this came up whenever we go to report someone. _________________

Woah, that would be cool. Teach a bit of people if they're false reporting or not.
Unless, you know, they don't read it. _________________ . |

Unfortunately I am not allowed to download things without permission, and I don't think my parents would care as our computer is full of junk we don't need already. |

I only use paint and it's easy.
I tend to just use the cut out tool to paste an image of the section the scenery over the person I want to erase. |

This strategy works even for adult-oriented forums, believe it or not. What would be more effective is displaying what they did wrong with the corresponding rule that was broken. Of course, this will need some programming. _________________ Hans' Comics. The best among the rest. |

There could be like a small video that you can view at any time, right? |

No, I meant when they receive the warning, the users would see the exact rule they broke on a pop up screen. It's nothing new, but it does work. _________________ Hans' Comics. The best among the rest. |

Oh I thought Pip meant that the rules would come up when someone was reporting, not to the person who had been reported. _________________ I'm old now :/ |

He did, as he referred to Runescape which does that. |

What's your point? It's not easy when someone gets in the way of making a comic, but its no excuse to report or get them reported. Even if you were a comic maker, you get no special privileges. You learn to either deal with it or stop making comics.
Think of it as a challenge for the modern comic maker. _________________
