If you're going by the American sense, they're waaaay different.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that for British, a cookie is harder and flat, and a biscuit is softer and slightly raised.

From an American point of view...

Cookie.

Biscuit.

Kind of the opposite Ben

Generally in the UK (although with americanisation to be honest the line isn't that clear any more)

Cookie

Biscuit

Biscuits can be sweet or savoury. It's a bit of a weird situation though because generally cookie is an American word and biscuit is an English one, so personally I might well say biscuit for either of the above, it's not really defined

Got any other examples of Biscuits just to see if that's it?

I'm American, so of course I use American English. It seems a lot more direct, sharp, and to the point without all those extra letters.

This video sums up everything I have to say about that sentence.

Plus it's funny.

More biscuits.

Scones for us are similar, but not quite the same. Less fluffy.

Yeah, those are scones.
We have no denominations of scones.

Unless you count differing pronunciations.

Brahahaha! Yeah I was like 'That looks like a scone!'.

Google Anzac Biscuit. That's what a biscuit looks like.
