why wont it let me choose anywhere else? it will only access the new zealand servers and the Australian capital citys servers

well it says my download speed is 183 kbps and my upload speed is 329 kbps. what does that mean?
This is what it said when my speed was tested by that link

That connection is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow. Try finding a faster one.

The only way to make is faster is by either:
  1. Buy a special program that can optimize your computer's connection speed
  2. Have a faster connection (either by upgrading the router and/or ISP).

Noobsaibot, are you using broadband or Dial-up?
I suggest switching to broadband if your on dial-up.

Another reason is that there could be too much traffic to your modem.

People connected in some way, shape or form. For example if six people are all using the Wireless Network at the same time, you would expect heavy delays or loss of connection overall.

Wireless connections often restrict the bit rate too so you'll find it slower then if you used a desktop with an Ethernet Cable.
