It might be caused by anyone stealing your account. You should change your password.
Did you have any other browsers at warbears when it came up?

Sometimes this happens when you are in BTC, close the browser qindow quickly, and open a new browser window and go into BTC. _________________

You use Firefox? If yes, it could happen, if you open a new tag, and forgets to close it, in BTC. It happened to me one day. _________________ ~ Freeze C.

I supposed the page refreshed too fast and ended up as 2 accounts at one time (similar to what Tango said). |

Do you have windows vista?
I do. When i first got my vista laptop it happened to me but it was a microsoft manufacturing fault. Its stopped now anyway. _________________

There are four ways to recieve this message:
The first and most common is to accidentally have two browser windows or tabs accessing BTC using the same account. This is easily solvable and not a glitch or a problem.
The second is to attempt to access BTC twice in quick succession, causing you to attempt to access it while still logged in once. Again, this shouldn't be a persistant issue.
The third is to have three or more users attempting to access BTC with the same IP address. This limit is intentional- it limits the number of multis that one person can use. This is likely the problem if you are using a network, or with certain ISPs.
The fourth and least likely is that your account had been compromised and the hacker was using it at the same time. The odds of this happening are near nil. If you are still worried, there is of course no harm in changing your password anyway. _________________ Rorschach avatar by Benjamin Lebowski.
Not a moderator. I don't know why people keep getting this idea. |
