I think, if there is a friend you know really well on WB, when there in your house, you can click on them, and there could be a green "X" saying, "upgrade citizen to VIP", if you click on the X it sends a request asking do you want to be a VIP for this house. You can still delete them from VIP if you wanted, in case they miss-use it. They cannot edit your house, though.

Basically, it's lke a mod for your house. Smile

Pooost awaaay! Soo happy

If you don't understand a word of it, how do you know it's a good idea...? Eh?

The idea has one key problem, the "person" who's hired for this job

Obviously, since the real mods can't do this job, you would have to choose someone else (most likely someone without any experience).

The right person for the job needs to have:
  • An understanding of the rules
  • Must be on at all times (or at least, part of the time)
  • Must be able to enforce the rules
  • Must remain calm, cool, and collected
  • Anything else that is covered under the "mod" umbrella.

Looking at the list, there's not that many people to choose from.

Also, if the person for the job, doesn't have those qualities, then the rules aren't being properly enforced.

If you hired a noob for the job...well you can see where i'm going with this.

Its a bad idea all around.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions (including me).
If you don't like it, then simply ignore it.

Errrr...John, they don't have to be on ALL the time, neither do actual mods. And there are quite a lot of sensible people on WB, just check my whole friends list.

And, if you do pick a noob, and they don't use the job correctly, just take them off the V.I.P list. If they have already done the damage, then report to and actual mod, for reasons maybe like:

Kicking when not needed.

Unsuitable house topics.

Etc.

Problem solved. Wink

No it isn't Confused
People will most likely choose their friends as mods.
The problem is that not all of these people are "good moderators."

Some of these people can encourage others to break the rules, or they could misinterpret the rules and apply them in the wrong situations.

Also, how would you know your "mod" is doing a good job?
How do you know your "mod" isn't using their powers for evil?

The whole idea is giving extra power to "special" citizens without any thought process behind it.

There would be thoughts behind it. And if they are doing a nasty job, or mis-using it, then I'm sure people would complain, a mod would of seen OR your house topic has been changed.

Remember, you an always de-activate them for V.I.P!
