Or maybe this: Instead of a set timer, when you have the bomb passed to you you have five seconds to answer the question or it will blow up. Answering wrong will also make it blow up.

Sorry, I disagree with that idea...Its more fun when someone has a few seconds to answer! Think about it this way: Few seconds left and what does somebody do? They answer it right in the couple 'o' seconds and the person after gets the blow! 
Downside of my idea: Some noob might just hold the bomb until it explodes and it ruins everyones fun...
To fix the downside: Maybe after 10 seconds passes and they do no typing for all that time, they get kicked out, 10 seconds gets added and the bomb is passed along to the next person! |

Well, I see a major issue.
Having a bomb explode in your face isn't very good usually.
I would even consider it bad.
Bad, as in... you die?

How about instead of a bomb a paint ball that paints you a random color depending on the color of it?

Maybe, when the bomb explodes in your face, you will have black ashes all over you and you could have a function to wipe it off OR your character could wipe of the ashes by himself automatically! |

| i like the idea of the game but i dont want the colour of my clothes or my citizen to die so i hope the changing clothes colour and dieing isnt added but it would most likely be my favourite game |

I thought we didn't have a hospital.
Maybe it could be those cartoon scenes where the poor victim's face is all black and sooty or something like that.
