I've noticed these "relationships" have become quite common. I personally think they're stupid, and annoying to the people around these "couples".
What do you think? |

I hate them.
Have some dignity and get a real Boyfriend/Girlfriend.
Stop playing dress up. It's annoying. |

I'm engaged to Niall.
Oh, BTC relationships.
I think they can be fun and all, but I can't help but be disgusted when people 1) cyber or 2) run around crying when their bf/gf "brakes" up with them.
Except I feel like this topic will turn into a BTC-relationship-bashing thread, so be nice to people who actually support them . _________________

No.
I agree with Taco, if you're going to play Dress-up, get some clothes and get off the internets. _________________ Newest Comic - Paranoia |

Who? Benji, Niall, Jonathon and Drpepper?
I think these stinkin' cyber relationships stink! I was in the park drinkin' ma' beer and then a weddin' was going on. So I dressed in my best clothes and crashed it! And they all were like "OMGSH WTH? U NUB STUP!" _________________ |

That is the first time I've appreciated something you've done, Action. As for relationships, I hate them. I was talking to a friend when her friend pops up and says, "You just missed the wedding!" So I follow them over to the park, but it was so full that we ended up in park 2! So as I was laughing my head off for the unlucky bride, we finally made it. And everyone was gone there too. While they discussed the matter, I sat back and read my new BTC Adventures, trying to forget the whole thing.
I've even gotten quite a few "PLZ B MY BF's" from people. I try to act nice when I let them down, but inside I'm wondering why the heck these people won't get a life. Rant over. |

I think it's fine when it's for fun, but when it starts progressing to "i rly love u" and "sry i got a bf in rl" and they actually mean it, well, yeah, not cool.
Also, I feel like the BTC daters don't come onto the forum very often, so this pretty much a one-sided topic. _________________

It is pretty annoying when they come and want to date you. Though, I get more people saying stuff like "y wont u b my frend", since I decline the majority of friendship requests too. And no, I'm also not e-dating (or even RL dating). _________________ Punch a duck |

Urgh.
Don't get me started on "virtual relationships".
If you know the person well, I would say it's fine to sort of .... flirt. Minimalistically. If you are able to laugh about it, and not take it seriously, then that's fine.
When people walk around saying "lookin 4 bf!", that's just not right. There's a word for those people, it begins with an S, and end with a T.
It's those people that are slowly killing BTC. _________________

The one thing which I find REALLY annoying is when a citizen will walk up to someone else and say 'ur sxy lol', about three seconds after meeting them. Three problems with this:
1). Citizens are Flash generated avatars, therefore all follow the same basic template.
2). Thinking a Flash avatar is 'sxy' is just plain weird.
3). You'd have to be a pimp or something in real to behave like that. _________________ TWO T-shirts!

I think e-relationships are fine. It isn't your fault if someone you love stays across the globe, right?
As long as you really care about a person, e-relationships are just the same as normal relationships.
Now, the n00by 'wil u be my gf?' crap is a different matter all together. _________________
