Welcome to the WarBear Awards (aka The Bearies).

The Bearies are awarded to citizens of Warbears who go above and beyond what is asked for.
There are many different ways you can win.
The winner will get a specialty made award.

~~~~Award Process~~~~

This is a guide on The Bearies work.

Here's the breakdown of how the recipients are chosen.

Note: Dates and times can change without warning

If the thread says:

"This award is in: Phase One"
Then the award is in the "nomination phase".
Duration: Five days
Start: TBD
End: TBD

During this part, the different awards will be announced.
There will be a separate topic for each award.
Once the awards are posted, you may send in me your nominations.
Here's a few things to include when you send me a recommendation:

~In the subject line, title it "The bearies" and which award you are referring too.
~List your nominations (max. 3 nominations per award per person. Make sure that what your nominating is clear).
~At least one reason why you've nominated that person/thing.

If your nomination doesn't include the above things, your nomination(s) will be ignored

Note: If you don't want your reasons to be displayed publically, then include the phrase "Don't show my reasons" somewhere on your recommendation.

"This award is in: Phase Two"
Then the award is in the "first waiting phase".
Duration:Three days
Start: TBD
End: TBD


All this phase is me tallying the votes, and determining who goes on the polls.
If the nomination process yields tie(s), then we go to the first tie-breaking phase (see "This award is in: Phase Three" for more info).
If the race doesn't end in ties, then the award process jumps from the first waiting phase to the voting phase to Phase Four.

Then the award is in the "first tie-breaking phase".
Duration: Two Days

If the nomination phase yields tie(s), then a new vote is put into place.
In the topic where the tie occurred, there will be a list of people to vote for. Depending on how the tie occurs, the top vote getters will fill the remaining slots.

Then the award is in the "voting phase".
Duration: One week

This phase is where anyone can vote for who should win each award.
Each person/thing will have a small description of why they were chosen for each award.
If you decide to drop out, please PM me ASAP so i can change the polls.
Depending on the ties and the topic itself, there can be anywhere from 5-10 options to choose from.
The polls will be displayed on their respective topics.

"This award is in: Phase Five"
Then the award is in the "second waiting phase".
Duration: One Week

This is where i look at the polls and determine a winner.
If the voting process yields a tie, then we go to the second tie-breaking phase (see "This award is in: Phase Six" for more info).
If there are no ties, then the award process jumps from the second waiting phase to the acknowledgment phase

Then the award is in the "second tie-breaking phase".
Duration: Five Days

If during the Voting Phase there's a tie, then a new vote is put in place.
In the topic where the tie occurred, there will be a list of people to vote for. The winner of that vote will win the award.

Then the award is in the "acknowledgment phase".
Duration: Until it gets locked

The winners will be announced on a separate topic.
On that topic, you can congratulate the winners, discuss what should be changed, added, or deleted, and ask questions regarding The Bearies.
This Thread will also include a list of names of everyone who've helped with the awards.

Here's what the process should look like:

Phase One "nomination phase"
Phase Two "first waiting phase" ~ (if no tie, then go to Phase Four. If not, go to Phase Three)
Phase Three "first tie-breaking phase"
Phase Four "voting phase"
Phase Five "second waiting phase" ~ (if no tie, then go to Phase Seven. If not, go to Phase Six)
Phase Six "second tie-breaking phase"
Phase Seven "acknowledgment phase"

Also, no flagrant comments or disrespecting other people's work. You can give out advice, and say that you like it or that you don't.
