Did you try pressing the map button?
And -- if you were talking to the cop or something while you were trying to get out of the bar, pressing the map button or trying to move is useless, because when one is talking to an NPC the conversation has to be finished before one can go anywhere. _________________

Shoot. Warbears doesn't work on a mac? Does anyone know if there is a way to play it on a mac? I use Safari.
It's strange because I managed to play it with some problems a little while ago on my mac, but now it will only give me an error.
Nevermind - I suppose there is still magic in the world. Or Shockwave. _________________ Ice Cream Giver |

Good day!
As a user of a Mac, I can confirm that it works if you have the right flash player for the right browser. _________________ ^captincroc |

What does deleting the cache do? AKA what is the cache? _________________ "..Thou hast dare to mock me, and to question the power of Melkor, Master of the Fates of Arda." |

I'm no expert on the subject, but I think I can give you the basic meaning:
A cache (when referring to a web browser) is where websites you visit will store information on your computer. The purpose of this is so that when you visit those sites again, the process will be faster as the website can use the information already on your browser and send less information - therefore speeding the whole thing up.
Unfortunately, after too many things are stored in your browser's cache (like temporary internet files, cookies, web page preferences) the process may start to slow down, or not even work at all. This might be a time to clear your cache:
Just a heads up, clearing your cache in most browsers means deleting:
-Browsing History
-Temporary Internet Files
-Cookies
-Form passwords, saved data on websites
-Website preferences
So clearing your cache doesn't mean deleting important files on your hard drive, it essentially just means speeding up your web browser slightly by getting rid of files that websites store on it. _________________

Wait does it delete only for that website or not? Does it delete saved data for every website on your computer? _________________ "..Thou hast dare to mock me, and to question the power of Melkor, Master of the Fates of Arda." |

It does it for every website you use on the Internet. If you are worried of it deleting something important, it won't. Clearing your Cache just helps with games with lag etc. |

If you mean 'saved data for every website' as saved passwords, logins etc; no. They are not affected. The only thing the cache has an effect on is the speed of which pages load and how they are loaded. _________________ ^captincroc |

Only thing is on most browsers, if you want to clear your cache without deleting saved passwords, preferences, and history you have to uncheck those boxes. _________________

I'm having a recurrent problem with the initialising error thingy... it does fix when I clear my cache but the problem happens again two, three days later. I'm using Google Chrome.
What could be causing it to happen so often? |

When you come onto the site are you already logged in? As I always am and if I go straight from the homepage to BTC I can't get on - I would have to go to the forums first, then to BTC. _________________ I'm old now :/ |
