Emily taking a walk in the park??

What's the meaning of this???

After a bit of testing it appears it happens after leaving the quiz room and joining the park. I didn't see emily in the quiz room though, and if I just join the park without going to the quiz room beforehand she doesn't appear.

I'm struggling to recreate this glitch. I don't suppose that she was also visible on the map, was she? If that were the case, then it'd just be a simple case of the Emily movieclip not being removed properly.
If not, then that still may be the case. I doubt it'll be a cache issue - I suggest if it happens refresh BTC.

Yeah, she never appeared at quizaboom or on the map, but appeared near the fountain in the park. On the first incident she actually ran across the park as she does in quizaboom.

Didn't appear at Quizaboom? Hm. That's interesting. Well, it's obviously a local error anyway, as the other people in the screenshot were none-the-wiser.

So I was walking out of the quiz room today and she was there waiting for me!

Figure 1: As soon as I walked out of the quiz room and back into the lobby I saw her there. She wasn't moving.

Figure 2: I whispered some commands to her that normally work in the quiz room. None of them caused her to give me any charts or information.

Figure 3: She still appears in the journal as a citizen.

Figure 4: I decided to type "/report quizbot idling" in my text box as a test. Normally, if you do this in the quizroom and click OK, you will lose server connection. I clicked OK when she was here in the lobby and nothing happened. I did not lose server connection.

Figure 5: I decided to whisper spam her and see if it would flood..

Figure 6: Flood was detected.

I tried a few more times to see if I could recreate the glitch but was unable to do so. I had a hunch that it might have something to do with entering and leaving the quiz room suddenly (before the quizbot is able to spawn)

Hopefully this information does some good.

If you manage to clone yourself to be at both the lobby and Quizroom at the same time when this happens, you can actually have her respond to the commands you input in the other room and viceversa. It makes for a good party trick I guess but other than that it's an extra line on a bug list

Wow, this is weird. I can only remember a few occasions when a bug this big has happened before and they always took a while to fix.
