I just recently watched the hunter x hunter movie, i'm caught up with both the manga and anime. The series is one of my favourites and i'm really glad that the manga is finally off hiatus, i'm lucky enough to have just gotten into it before it came back. I'd really recommend watching or reading it!
I'm planning on cosplaying Kurapika at my upcoming convention. |

RWBY might as well be called an anime since it's the first of it's kind that got a Japanese dub. _________________ If you lose, you weren't worse. The others were just better.

What on earth does that even mean
What nonsensical yet extraordinary near suicidal leap of logic is this
It's an American animation. It uses an "anime style", but "looking like anime" isn't a qualifier of what is and isn't anime. Anime isn't a visual style, it's animation produced in Japan.
Crayon Shin-chan is an anime. Aku no Hana is an anime. Sailor Moon is an anime. They all have distinct looks. There is no visual similarity between them.
The "anime style" that non-anime productions use just means that visually resembles the traditional idea that non-Japanese have of anime. That is why Rwby is. That is what the first Teen Titans was. That is what <insert name here> is/was. That doesn't make it an anime though.
Anime isn't a genre, and it isn't a style. It's a medium. It's just "Japanese cartoons".

Shrek probably has a Japanese dub.
Hey everybody, Shrek is my favourite anime. |

RWBY was the first American made anime American made anime-style series that got a Japanese dub.
Besides, I, along with millions of other people, will continue to refer to it as an anime. And really, what difference does it make other than making some basement dweller cringe? _________________ If you lose, you weren't worse. The others were just better.

Teen Titans had a Japanese dub. I don't even think that's the first one.

Because you're factually incorrect. It makes you look stupid, and now everything you say will be taken with a heavy dosage of salt because you're an avowed imbecile. Millions of people do a million stupid things every day. The difference is that they do it as stupid people, unaware of the innate stupidity of their actions. It doesn't make you or them any less stupid.

Alright, that's enough of this, it's turning into more personal attacks than debate. Let's move this back towards discussing anime. |

Agreed.
So, there will apparently from now on be occasional episodes explaining the lore of Remnant. While that sort of interferes slightly with weekly RWBY episodes, from the very first two minute special I can tell this'll explain a whole lot. _________________ If you lose, you weren't worse. So umm..topic change? How do you guys like the re-make of Sailor Moon so far?
I like the soundtrack and animation, the colours are also very nice, but I'm not found of there bodies they look less realistic to me than in the first anime. _________________ ✧˖° ✧˖° ✧˖° Kyary was here ✧˖° ✧˖°✧˖° |
