Working on some stuff for this today since I have a chance. Also got some server tests planned.
And lol, no Shirley. I'm not taking characters from BTC. _________________ Twitter |

Done a lot of work on the art today! The style is very different to BTC, so I'm going to have to redo the login page (well, it was only temporary anyway...)
Here are two of the assets at 100% scale. It's all high resolution stuff so I'll hopefully be able to have some good zoom functionality in the game.
I also took a few extra screenshots for you guys just to show my process when making the sofa, in case anyone is interested. It takes a fair amount of effort to produce each asset! Up to about an hour each? D:
Firstly, I start by drawing the outline to the object in Illustrator. I'm using a lineart brush I found a while ago online.
Next, I bring the outline into Photoshop and start colouring underneath it. I would colour in Illustrator, but I'm far more comfortable doing it in Photoshop. Maybe when I'm better at Illustrator!
Here I draw some "heavy shadows." This adds a lot of the depth to the asset. When doing cartoony style graphics in Photoshop, I use a brush called "Simple Inking Brush for Photoshop."
Finally, I add in a bunch of textures and small details using various brushes. I tend to go for quite grungey brushes. For the little bits of fluff, I used a pack of grass brushes!
And that's everything for now! Hope you like the style I've gone for. _________________ Twitter |

This is an intense project. I feel like it's the Noah's arc equivalent to Warbears.
I like the way you are going with it so far, Funny! I look forward to venturing around the isometric world in the near future. _________________

Thanks for offering, but I'm alright on my own. I would recommend the language though. It's very similar to actionscript and javascript, so if you like those languages but want more platform freedom, I'd go for it. _________________ Twitter |
