Yes, this is exactly the same game as my previous mafia – except this time it'll be hosted right here on Warbears, so I don't have to cancel it halfway through due to lack of activity. 
Game information:
The innocent players are the gods of Asgard. The evil players are the giants, who are trying to take over Asgard. The giant Loki, whose true loyalty is unknown, is the game's psychopath.
Rules
- The general game rules can be found here.
- There is no maximum number of players, but the gods must be twice as many as the giants. If there aren't enough players to support all the roles, some of the roles will be removed.
- The phases will be about three days long, but I may end them earlier if I get all the votes/actions.
- You are allowed to roleplay.
- The game starts on a Night phase. You are allowed to vote "no lynch" during the first Day phase, but not afterwards.
- You can't lynch vote for yourself.
- When sending me your night action, please title it "Mafia Action" (or something like that). If you don't want to use your action during a night phase, then please send me a pm anyway and say so. I won't read the messages until the phase is over, so if you change your mind you can edit your pm.
- You are not allowed to show screenshots of your role PM.
- If you get killed, you may not share any information with other players.

The Gods
Win by eliminating all the Evil Forces, and killing Loki. Do not know each other's identities, but are allowed to PM players that they trust.
Odin
God of wisdom and inspiration
During each night phase, Odin can use his magic powers to investigate another player. If the investigation is successful, Odin will find out the role of that player.
Thor
God of thunder and society order
During each night phase, Thor can block another player. This player will be unable to use his/her power during that phase.
Baldr
God of light and beauty
By sending me a PM, Baldr can stop the lynching during one day phase. He must do this before the phase ends. (Note that Baldr is the only player who can use his power during a day phase.) If Baldr dies, a funeral will be held during the next day phase (no lynch).
Frigg
Goddess of marriage and motherhood
During each night phase, Frigg may protect another player from death. This player can't be killed, but can recieve other actions.
Tyr
God of valour and warfare
During each night phase, Tyr may protect another player from death in the same manner as Frigg. However, this player will also be blocked from using his/her power.
Freyr
God of fertility and weather
During each night phase, Freyr can watch another player. By doing so, Freyr will find out who targeted that person during that phase.
Freyja
Goddess of love and witchcraft
During each night phase, Freyja can track another player. By doing so, Freyja will find out whom that player targeted during that phase.
Njord
God of the sea and sailors
During each night phase, Njord can switch two other players. What is intended to happen to one will happen to the other instead.
Heimdall
God of vigilance and guarding
During each night phase, Heimdall may guard another player. If anyone attempts to kill that player, both Heimdall and the attacker die instead. (This only happens if the player should have been successfully killed.)
Forseti
God of peace and justice
At night, Forseti is able to protect another player from all actions taken against him/her. However, he may only do this up to three times.
Ullr
God of archery and skiing
By sending me a PM (during a night phase), Ullr may choose another player to take with him if he dies. That person will die when Ullr dies, no matter what. Ullr can change his target if he wants to. If no valid target is chosen when Ullr dies, a random player will die.
Bragi
God of eloquence and poetry
During each night phase, Bragi is allowed to hide behind another player. While hiding, Bragi cannot be targeted by any other player. However, if the person he is hiding behind dies, Bragi dies as well.
Idun
Goddess of youth and rejuvenation
During each night phase, Idun can give one of her apples to another player. If that player is targeted during that phase, Idun will recieve the action instead.
Hoenir
God of birds and knowledge
At the start of the game, Hoenir recieves three items. During night phases, Hoenir can use one of his items on somebody. Each item can only be used once, and Hoenir will not find out what they do until he has used them.
Vidar
God of silence and vengeance
During a night phase, Vidar may choose a player to kill. This is a one-time action that can only be used after Odin has been killed.
Einherjar (1+)
Fallen warriors
The Einherjar are the champions of Valhalla. Other than being able to vote during the day phases, they have no special powers.
The Giants
Win by having a number equal to the gods, and killing Loki. Know each other's identities, and can communicate via PM.
Surtr
King of the Fire Giants of Muspellheim
Is responsible for sending me the team's kill (along with who will execute the kill). Any other player of the same team can take over this task if Surtr dies.
Fenrir
Monstrous wolf that has broken its fetters
Has a one-shot ability at recruiting another player to the Evil Forces. That player will keep his/her powers. If the recruited player is investigated, he/she will show up as "[role]/Recruit". Fenrir dies if he attempts to recruit Loki.
Jörmungandr
Giant serpent that lies around Midgard
If Jörmungandr is lynched during a day phase, a random player who pointed at him will die as well. This doesn't happen if Jörmungandr is nightkilled.
Nidhogg
Fire breathing dragon that eats corpses
Nidhogg is able to investigate players in the same manner as Odin.
Garmr
Ravenous dog that guards the entrance to the underworld
Has a one-shot ability to steal an ability from someone. That player will keep his original title if he is investigated, but will not be able to use his powers. Garmr dies if he attempts to steal Loki's power. If Garmr steals Hoenir's ability, he only gets the remaining items.
Frost Giants (1+)
Descendants of Ymir the Frost Giant
May give their opinion on who to kill during night phases, but have no other special abilities.
Loki
Wins by being the last player alive.
Loki
The mischievous blood brother of Odin
Loki has one kill each night phase. He kills himself if he doesn't submit a choice, but does not have to kill if there's less than five players in the game. |
