Same system, so I'd guess same problem. _________________

Text signatures are fine; non-text signatures are not currently working.
No word on when they'll be fixed, unfortunately. |

Is this the reason many people's avatars are disappearing? _________________ Patiently Awating Btc's Arrival. |

Avatars should only be disappearing if people attempt to change it. _________________

Non-cryptic version: Don't change your avatar or your signature or you will cause them to disappear permanently. The "Upload a new avatar" option is tempting, yes, but bear in mind the fact that it does not work, and the only reason it is still there in the first place is because the effort to temporarily remove it has not been made yet _________________ TUB THREAD.

Has the effort for anything been made yet? |

Aw come on, I'm sure Ioji hasn't stopped to do anything but eat and sleep while he's been coding hour on hour, with no break for anything else like videogames
http://prntscr.com/1htzh7
http://prntscr.com/1htzkw
http://prntscr.com/1htzo7
or movies
http://prntscr.com/1htzs5

Ok, jokes aside, I believe in Ioji. I know it's been a long time and a lot of people think it shouldn't take that long to program a game, but you forget, this isn't all he does. It's not like this is his job. This is a hobby. If coding the city and another mission was so easy to do as just a hobby, on your own, while you have a social life, a job and/or education, a family, and casual time (like yes, playing videogames or watching movies), then why haven't you guys done it already, huh? Don't forget that Ioji loses money by this website being up.
But again, seriously. Everybody keeps saying how easy it should be to code another mission and the city. If that were true, why doesn't Funny do it? He's a coder, y'know. |

Those are great points Twigglet, but you forgot one tiny little thing...
WE WERE WAITING FOR ANOTHER INSTALLMENT OF WARBEARS FOR 5 YEARS.
And I'm pretty sure Funny has made some games during Ioji's years of not-giving-a-damn-about-warbears |

And let's take a small look at something else, shall we? Funny might have made loads of games during that time, but what was that one game he never really got round to finishing, that we've also been waiting on for ages?
THAT'S RIGHT, THE GAME MEANT TO BE JUST LIKE ONE OF THE MISSIONS.
I can't believe you think Ioji doesn't give a damn about us. He kept the website running all these years, didn't he? He patched stuff and fixed stuff and updated the website, didn't he? He kept the site up EVEN THOUGH IT MAKES HIM LOSE MONEY, didn't he? He brought the servers back up when they crashed, didn't he? I mean, flipping heck, he even told us that he NEARLY DIED and STILL HADN'T QUITE RECOVERED. I'm sorry Trick, but are you doing all them things? You act like it's Ioji's duty to do this. It's not his job, it's his hobby.
Even though it took him a while to bring the servers back up, or implement features, or give us the news, he always did it. Maybe it took a while and maybe it was really flipping late, but he hasn't failed in any case besides this one so far, and we're yet to see the end of this one. |

I know he doesn't earn money out of this, but if he put in some effort, I'm sure donations would come in, and more people would come. But right now, this is a forum.
That's all Warbears is now. And it's not even an active forum.
Okay, sure, there are the missions, but who does them more than once? And for fun? I only did them for BTC credits, the missions drag on so long and are mentally impossible for me to complete without an explicit walkthrough. Back when he actually made missions, there were hundreds of people online at any given time. Now... we're lucky to have 5 people online at a time. Five.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Ioji just closed down the server for good, he's just wasting this money now. |
