Okay I think by now we have a decent idea of what people want to see (Something they will win) so at least I'm confident of what I won't do

Nominations should begun sometime soon but in the meantime can anyone here fill me in on the game hosts since last years Bearies as I've no idea where to start from on the records and I'm fairly certain the records are outdated.

There was Sheena's and then I think it moved offsite for a game or two but I don't know much of that because absolutely nobody told me anything about it.

Sheena's game was on the WB forums, not sure who won though.

I think you might be referring to Simon's mafia which was offsite, and I believed it got cancelled because everyone forgot about it due to it being on a different site.

Okay well it's time I admit that I probably rushed into this a little prematurely with not much of a plan. Infact I wasn't so much as planning on hosting as just trying to get a ball rolling.

Having some categories up there is good and fine but before I move onto the much more important stage of nominations anyone who can and will vote in the Bearies please use either option in the poll, just so we can get a basic idea of how many people would be voting to see if we're not better off holding off the actual events a bit longer.

I'm cool for everything except the best houses category. I also suggest that "Most annoying member" be changed to "Most annoying/love able member" because I don't want some annoying lava lamp man to win a Bearie.

Hey, have you sorted out trophy design and stuff yet? It might be a bit early to mention stuff seeing as we don't know for certain this is running yet, but I can help with such stuff.
Just putting a pre-emptive word in.

Well for most of the categories we plan to use the regular Bearies trophy from last year, but we're also gonna have special trophies for the more notable categories like Spirit of the Year.

It looks likely we'll reach the 20 voter minimum, so Warts and I have begun talks and organizing of events so stay tuned for more information.

Oh by the way Crazy if you don't mind making trophies we were considering making two out of the ordinary trophies one for Spirit of the Year and the other for Comic of the year. Thanks
