I just want to highlight one of the points Jippy made in that opening post.
We all expect this site to come back to life, and want it to, yet the majority of members refuse to show any respect to a new member here, and this starts to discourage people from staying. If we want life here, we need new members to come - and then stay.
That's all I have for now, I might be back with more. |
He's right. Also, we should help as much as we can. I fear this site may one day be closed. Guys, try to at least come to warbears at least once a day. Even if you can only stay for 40 seconds. One extra person can make a small difference but think about how many people actually have an account? _________________ ...Grumble, Grumble... |

Some very very good points in here, Jp. I've had a word with Ben, and he's allowing me to open a poll in the Comics forum. This poll will be a discussion of CMU. Personally, I look at CMU as a representation of the Warbears Community. CMU has been a very strong and dedicated group and I would be willing to run it alongside with Frank (considering he's still active and Bjorn and Simon are gone). So if you want to keep CMU or let alone join it. Vote in the poll in the Comics forum which I'll put up momentarily.
Also, referring to the Bearies, once again I don't mind hosting the Bearies, but I refuse to do work for something that has no community support. _________________

Simon's semi-active I think, I just asked him about hosting another CI and he said he'll think about it. _________________ I'm old now :/ |

I'm happy with three, four, five CMU leaders if possible as long as they're all willing to chip some effort in so hopefully there won't be any issues made out of Warts and whoever else running it?
We certainly won't exceed a volunteering limit or something like that _________________ TUB THREAD.

Actually I have almost made a complete return. Perhaps I should go to the Leave of Absence thread to make it official. _________________

Looks like CMU is coming back, if we get enough votes, and Funny and Poi bringing Bear Union back.. We're back on track now, all we need is more people _________________

Now that I'm back on the site, I've also been considering a return to comic making. However, due to a recent computer crash I haven't got Photoshop anymore, so I need to get it installed first. _________________

What we need is for some of the community Idea's to be implemented, rather than just sitting in share your Ideas with people saying 'yes' and then nothing happening. _________________

For the past months I have seen this site go down on it's knees.
Now I shall make the nerdiest remark I have ever made in my LIFE.
All of these things that we are doing is like the episode of Doctor Who where the TARDIS is dead except for that one light that stayed alive and started to recharge to fix the entire TARDIS.
I have found a beacon of hope for Warbears. And it is getting larger as each day progresses. _________________

I have some solutions that may will or not work:
1. For the comic thing, torture Frank till he holds CI3. If it wasn't for that, we would have no comics.
2. The bearies are being held, so I have no complaints.
3. About the two veteran players, people need to respect new people, because they aren't being chained to a wall to stay here. They can leave when they want, and at the moment, we need all the people we can get. SO BE GOOD [oops]! BE FREAKING GOOD! _________________ Replaying the secret location because I forgot all the passwords |

Okay so the other day, Knyh and I were discussing in the tinychat what else can be done. Now I'm looking at the forums and I see a lot of locked up clutter. Knyh came up with the idea of a forum reboot. Me on the other hand I came up with the idea to just delete some old topics. _________________

Anything that hasn't been posted in on over a year could probably be removed. There's always the idea of an 'archive' section where the old classics can be kept though. |
