(Y)?

I don't like the Sarcmark. It ruins sarcasm.

(And if it really was official, why would Spelling Cow think it's a typo?)

(Y) is the MSN Messenger code that displays a thumbs up.

The Sarcmark hasn't been around long enough to be added to most spell-checkers.

(Y) = Thumbsup.

I'd enjoy the Sarcmark if I didn't have to pay for it.

And Spelling Cow doesn't get an update with new words every day.

Mwahahaha.

I don't think I'd ever really use the Sarcmark in any situation because (a) I'd forget about it [or] (b) It would ruin the sarcasm, even though sarcasm is sometimes hard to identify on the interwebz.

Why is everyone saying that? I mean, it is quite hard for me to spot sarcasm! It would be best you know the sarcasm! Then they get the joke!
