I must say I preferred the meteor ending. Quite frankly the new ending was just too happy-go lucky the good guys band together and defeat the forces of evil for my tastes and even then it was extremely anti-climactic. The meteor ending had symbolic meaning in that regardless of our choices in life, good or bad death is inevitable and can come at any time. It really made me reflect on my actions throughout the gam.. I mean my life.

Still don't believe this is close to second place. Forums Games only shows Mafia games up until last year, but it was created four years ago. They used to be a lot longer.
