OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO, the game has begunnnnnnnn!

'Twas a new morning in BTC-land. The birds sang in the park, the squirrels screamed over the rooftops, and the citizens chattered happily in the bar (as it was too early to be drinking). That is, until they decided to head over the Beach. The mangled corpse of Ioji was found under the remains of the ice cream fridge. Next to him, a message was written in blood: "BTC is now ours! You're next, infidels!"

Gasps emitted from the crowd. "Who could've possibly done this to our beloved Ioji?" they cried.

"I know who it was!" shouted a voice. The crowd turned to see who had solved the mystery. "It was-"

*BOOM*

And suddenly, the mysterious stranger was gone. Another life lost in what was the beginning of a war.

It was Mochi. She was forced to become the Narrator.

Now, citizens, before you yourselves are murdered, find the Mafia! First NIGHT phase ends on Monday March 22nd 11:59 GMT

How the PM system will work
PM me any time during the phase to choose your action. I will not read the PM until the end of the phase. Therefore, you may change your action at any time during the phase. To do this, go to your Outbox. The PM you have sent will be sitting there (until I read it). You can edit it, and resend.

If you have questions, make sure you title the PM, "Mafia question" so that I read it.

Roles:

Citizens: - Win by eliminating mafia and arsonist
Cop (1) - May investigate one player each night to find out their role. Cannot investigate oneself.
Dumb Cop (1) - Is told at the beginning that s/he is the cop; however, the results are random. Same rules apply as for the cop.
Doctor (1) - May choose one player to protect each night from death. Can protect oneself.
Bouncer (1) - May choose one player to block each night.
Inventor (1) - Has three one-shot objects ("Beer, Cocktail, Ice-cream") that each have a pre-determined effect. Does not know what the effects are.
Bus Driver (1) - Switches two players during night phase. What is intended to happen to one will happen to the other instead.
Bodyguard (1) - May choose one player to protect each night. If anyone tries to kill the player s/he is protecting, both the bodyguard and the attacker die.
Governor (1) - May prevent lynchings from happening (must PM the narrator before the lynching occurs). Cannot prevent his/her own lynch, and cannot protect one person more than once. May use this power three times total.
Married BTC couple (2) - Two players who know each other’s identities; if they point at the same target, the votes count as 3; if one dies, the other goes crazy and kills the citizen involved with the death, and s/he dies. In other words, the couple dies on the same turn.
Siblings (2) - one is of mafia, the other is a citizen. If one dies, the other commits suicide the following night. They know each other's identities.
Firefighter (1) - May protect one citizen per night from the Arsonist (not the Mafia)
Tracker (1) - May choose one target to track. Can see whom the person visits at night, but does not know what is done.
Watcher (1) - May choose one target to watch. Can see who visits the person, but does not know who does what.
Jailkeeper (1) - both blocks and protects a person.
Nexus/Citizen (1) - This is a regular citizen who may, on three given nights, use their power, which directs any action taken upon them to another random character.
Union (3) - three (innocent) members who may discuss their thoughts with each other.
Commuter (1) - can choose to be immune to nightkills three times (will not be immune to blocking, investigation, etc.) and cannot use his power twice in a row.
Bomb (1) - if killed, the killer dies too. If lynched, the last voter dies.
Hider/Citizen (1) - A regular citizen who may choose to hide behind another player; if the person the Hider is hiding behind is killed, the Hider is killed as well.
Double-voter (1) - his vote counts as double, or he may vote for two people (by PMing me. Obviously he shouldn't reveal himself on the forum.)
Princess (1) - If the Princess dies, a huge elaborate funeral is held the next day phase (no lynch).
Citizen - May only lynch vote. Has no special powers.
Hackers: - Win by having equal numbers to citizens and eliminating ze arsonist. The hackers vote on whom to kill by PMing me with a name. It is up to the hackers to unify through PMs…or not.
Mastermind (1) - Tiebreaker
Crooked Cop (1) - Same as regular cop, but Mafia.
Thief (1) - Has a one-shot ability at trying to steal an ability from anyone. Will die if attempts to steal ability from arsonist. Steals only remaining uses if the jobs have limited use.
Hider/Hacker (1)- A regular Hacker who may choose to hide behind another player; if the person the Hider is hiding behind is killed, the Hider is killed as well.
Hacker - May give his/her opinion on who to kill each night phase
Third Party: - Wins by being the last player alive
Arsonist (1) - Gets one kill per night. Kills himself if he does not submit a choice, but does not have to kill if there's less than five players in the game.
