Ghost hunters? Sounds like a rip off off the awesome(a lot of praising) Ghostbusters. |

Obviously things aren't really being thrown at them. Don't you think it's a little more likely that they're staging it all? |
Yes. They are wasting money. _________________

For vids on ghosts, people have claimed to have Michael Jackson's ghost on tape (check youtube), but other people says it was just the reflection of a camera man... |

What about the TV show A Haunting. That seems pretty real when the people who say they've experienced these things are crying because of how much it's traumatized them. |

So it's not possible for people to fake crying? _________________ He/him or they/them |

Because it's completely unheard of for something to mistake something for something else, right? _________________ "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe."

Yes, yes that's exactly what I'm talking about. And I think it's freaking sick to call someone a liar if they're serious in tears over something that has attacked there lifes. Not I'm not just talking about seeing a ghost from the corner of your eye. I'm talking about a real experiences, if you watched the show you'd know what I'm talking about. |

Delusion is a powerful thing.
If people can't explain something with empirical evidence or their knowledge because they don't have an understanding of what is going on then they look to the paranormal to explain it.
It is my belief that there is no such thing as the Paranormal, it is just the individual interpretations of people. They may have watched a lot of programmes about it or read books about it and when they encounter 'it' they immediately leap to that conclusion subconsciously.
If you develop a definite belief that there is no such thing as the paranormal then you won't encounter it.
Yesterday at my friends house a bulb oddly just turned off and on again. Now I could interpret that as a ghost from the past displaying their anguish in the form of mild light tampering, or I could say it's a faulty filament/connection. Of course it's not always that simple and a lot of this has to do with the brain which none of us have sufficient understanding, not even the best brain scientists, as if they did we'd have a definite answer.
This is basically like belief in God. It's a choice between blind faith or empirical evidence. |
