I need a full explanation on 'has/have' and 'had' please. They seemed to confuse me. :| |

Has is only used for third person singular, have for all the rest
So
我有 - I have
你有/你們有 - You have
我們有 - We have
她們有 - They have
他有 - He has
她有 - She has
Had is past tense and often refers to something that you no longer have _________________ TUB THREAD.

I knew that, and no Chinese explanations please, I can't even understand them. (lol, ironic xD)
I want to know the difference in terms of verb, as in:
"He had/has kissed my mother"
"Leroy had/has not kissed his wife"
"I have/had been in the orphanage since 1945" |

Ewwww English :P
I'm not completely sure about this but using "has -ed" I think is the imperfect past tense, and so implies that the action was 'ongoing', whereas using "had -ed" is the past perfect tense and implies the action was a 'one off' type thing, and has stopped.

That explains it pretty well :P _________________ I'm old now :/ |

I have no idea what nouns, verbs and whatnot are. I know they exist but I couldn't tell anyone which is which.
Somehow I have A grades in English language. |

A noun is a something - A cold, a chair, a dog, a bosom
A verb is a doing word - jump, climb, duck, grope
An adjective is a describing word - blue, smelly, stupid, bouncy |

Haha . We can talk about math too here. Sometimes, Google gives answers without real explanations. |

Google translate is good for single words but don't dare use it for whole sentences/paragraphs.
EXAMPLE;(guess where it's from!)
this should replace lorem ipsum wrote: |
(actually thats fairly close but it's still wrong) _________________
