Leroy thats not very helpful...
Clicking Profile at the top right (under where it says Welcome, [yournamehere]), then clicking 'Edit' on the info section (the blue one to the left) allows you to set an image as your avatar and to also change your profile information. Avatars must be 100x100 pixels or less, and signatures generally anything up to 700 wide and a maximum of 100 pixels tall, or the equivalent amount of text. Theres some more detailed rules here but asking if you are unsure is the best way to find something out.
