Minecraft has become a popular engine for people to play their own versions of the Hunger Games, so I want to try our own.

Details
- The games will be hosted on an open, unmodded(mostly) server BUT only those actively participating (not dead) will be allowed free roam to avoid revealing the location of those playing.
- Each game will last until everyone either leaves or is dead.
- Make sure you listen when you first join the games.
- When half the participants are dead, there will be a feast.
- If the last two (or more) people die almost at the same time (Before one can be congratulated), there will be sudden death in an arena, with whatever items they had with them at the time.
- The world is limited to 768 by 768, which should be big enough for people to hide yet small enough for some nice conflict :D. Crossing this border will lead to disqualification.

Rules
- No hacked clients
- No communicating other than through the game
- Only 1 winner
- No afking for more than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of afking; you will be kicked unless you have a valid reason.
- If you leave the server, you have 5 minutes to get back. If not, you will be disqualified.
- No items are banned; use whatever you want :P

How it will work
- There will be a protected glass box in the center of the map for any spectators (including those who have already died)
- The match will begin by all players being taken down to ground level.
- There will be the first day (whatever remains until sunset) of no PVP for players to run and hide.
- After this, everyone must fight to survive; the world will be in hard difficulty.
- You can only win if you stay for the entire games; Leaving disqualifies you unless you return within the designated time frame.
- If the games run longer than 3 hours, they will be postponed until a later date, where they will be resumed exactly as before.

Server
Exact details will be posted closer to the event.
I'm planning to have this either Friday 6th or Saturday 7th April and then whenever possible after if people want it.
I know this clashes with TF2 on the steam group but if people can be bothered I'd like to have these from 1PM up until TF2 starts at 4PM, or earlier if possible!

NOTE; For those wondering, the world will only contain the border chunks and the center before the games begin; The rest will be generated on the fly as people explore. This means that, even as admin and map creator I can still play with NO advantage (I will not be OPing myself, and everyone will have their inventories cleared before the games start). The seed will be random; not selected by me.
