If the people at the Apple Store worked in PC world, the world would be a better place. They're really your best bet with an problems, as the only people who use a mac on here (that I know of) are Cappy and Warts.

Seeing how it's an imac, it may not be easy to take apart so sending it to apple or taking it to one of their stores is probably the best way to get it fixed.

Ok, we've just taken it to the Genius Bar in the Apple store and they ran it on Apple mode until it overheated and nothing happened. They said it's most probably a problem with Windows 7.

If that's the case, make sure you get any drivers/software updates available.

The main problem lies with the fact neither Apple or Microsoft will be able to fully help you, as they are 'Unfamiliar' with the others' product.

Do you know what kind of video card is in it? I would also like to know how old your imac is because I installed windows 7 on a 2006 intel-based imac and it worked just fine.

Something that's bothering me is the age of your computer. Depending on when it was introduced will tell you how fixable your problem is. Anything older than 2007 is practical unfixable.
