I don't know why, but the video card for my Imac just goes off randomly so I have to restart the computer every time that happens. (Which isn't very healthy for the computer) We just had the video card changed by Apple.
Also, I thought it might be because it was over heating, but when I felt the top, it was quite cool.
What can I do? |

A Mac is a PC. Counter-Trololol. Now would you kindly help me if you can? |

What exactly do you mean by the video card goes off randomly? _________________ Twitter |

Well, I'm probably wrong in saying randomly. Unless you think there is a sequence? Or a certain thing I do that sets it off? (But I doubt that.) |

The screen just goes off as if the computer is turned off. But I know my computer is still on because of the red glow from my mouse. |

It sounds like your video card wasn't properly installed or connected. I would try removing the video card and then make sure to properly put it back in. If that doesn't help you may simply have a bad video card.
Also, what did you mean when you said your mac was a pc? _________________

Sometimes this happens to me but in a different way
Sometimes, many times, my computer restarts when I put in a CD, And sometimes it restarts in the process of restarting.
Healthy much? xD _________________

We sent it to apple for a reason. Changing the video card is too complex and difficult. |

What kind of mac is it (imac, mac pro, etc.)? Also it sounds like maybe your monitor isn't plugged in correctly so if possible check that. _________________

Considering he said it was an Imac in the first post, I assume it's an Imac. |
