You've got some good ones in there. "Most useful poster" definitely. You see lots of posts on this forum that are pretty damn useless. "Most friendly user" would also be a good one - being kind pays off.

I agree with this! This is actually the first year I've even talked about the Bearies because it wasn't really focused in BTC that much. (Which is all I really do anyways.) You don't have to use all of these, of course, but some of them would be nice.

I appeciate everyone's opinions but before you nuke the Bearies may I remind you that this is why I have the prep. thread so I can see everyone's opinions and suggestions.
As for Funniest Member that was a slip up on my end. I saw a lot of great category ideas and I truly appreciate that.
Also considering there will possibly more categories than past years I would like some co-hosts like last year. In other words one or two more cuz Sheena jumped right on the band wagon.
Please I encourage everyone to express their opinions. But I prefer Bjorn's style of criticizing so we don't hurt people's feelings.

| Okay okay we don't really want obscure awards like the one above. These are THE BEARIES and the idea behind them is mainly to reward hard working, diligent and good people within the community. Rewards for things like dressing up, having a decent avatar or having a somewhat 'epic fail' are more deserving of a totally new awards ceremony called 'The Hoggies' where we reward people for being lazy, cumbersome and rude. |
