Aching timbers concealed the prize most valid from a snooping iris, and malicious fate whims death into their line. The seventeen swine whittled to one...

THE DEATH OF OSCAR AND NINJA
Door Six, approached by Ninja and Oscar. Tentatively they pushed their way in, yet blinded by darkness, trod upon the abyss. Piercing silence broke them into a cool sweat. Grasping the walls either side for relief, none. Ninja crept forward in search of dimension. Oscar kept his back to the wall. Above them something swinging. A lightbulb?
Oscar kept edging along the wall. Invalid planks moaned beneath. And above. Then at last, string from above, a lightswitch! Tugging furiously in joy only to find horror.
Ninja lay bereft of a head in the centre of the room. Oozing life. Fingers twitching with remorse. Oscar silently screamed clutching air. The opposite wall was crying blood when from above a bloodied hand reached down and plunged the room back into darkness.
Oscar never left Room Six, but whoever else was in this house did...
