Twig, you misunderstand.
I've seen hundreds of topics saying 'HOW I GITS MOAR CREDDS?', so many people want more than they can get from missions, and they aren't patient enough to earn them with games.
If you let people buy credits, people will buy credits, even if it's just so they support the site. |
And you haven't seen hundreds of topic saying "WE NEDZ MOAR FURNIZ!!!11"
Anyways, it's not like Ioji would update it simply for this reason; he'd proabably add easier ways to get credits too. |
Why spend time making it easier, when you can earn money from it a different way? _________________

because shut up you should be doing CYOA.
I'm kidding, but that's not how it works. The idea is just dumb, and it will really disincourage new users. |

Why would simply having the option to buy credits discourage new users? _________________ I'm old now :/ |

The CYOA I updated not too long ago?
I'd like you to look at Facebook coins, used in many of their games. Don't tell me those aren't sucessful. Buying credits here would be similar, just on a smaller scale. _________________

Also, what are considered the most stupidly pathetic attempts to money-suck in history? That's right, boyo. |

Doesn't mean people don't buy them.
They're not the best example, but hundreds of sites use a similar thing, and not once has it flopped. _________________

I don't use Facebook much, so no. But I'm not a representative sample.
Some of my Friends, on the other hand, do, and they buy Facebook Credits. _________________

Yeah, but would you rather pay 3.50 a week to get extra credits or 3.50 a year to get extra stuff? |

It's not weekly payments for extra credits, it would be one off payments. _________________ I'm old now :/ |

As you said, there comes a point where there is nothing else to buy.
Unless they're insane, most would stop buying credits there. _________________

Well, this and merchandise seems to be the more 'do'-able of all the suggestions. _________________ ^captincroc |

I think if regular users were still given the 10-credits-per-day like now, but premium users were given 50 (or more) credits a day it may encourage some people to become premium users. |

I know it's been over a year since this was last posted on, but I actually sort of have an idea - and I'm probably going to tell Ioji directly first, but I actually think this could work! |
