It goes without saying that when choosing a comic team member the priority is quality as in some ways the user is acting as a quasi official representative of the site (also the reason why some Bjorn humour has to be diluted  ). One of the main reasons Comic Island was used as a way of picking a new comicer was because it demanded of the competitors many of the desired qualities; consistency, real creativity in the face of a deadline and impressive turnover. I think if people could demonstrate those outside of CI they'd really have a shot at being picked! There are definitely people on my radar, but I'd like to hear who you guys would pick too

I might pop up with a new comic every now and then, but right now I'm rather busy because of school. It's also getting harder to come up with new ideas nowadays.
I agree that we need to increase activity in the Comics forum, so choosing a new Comic Team member would be a good idea.

I don't see any problem with the current team to be honest. I love the steady flow of comics of Bjorn and the sub-monthly flow of Simon's but I wouldn't immediately kick them out in favour of someone who isn't guaranteed to actually keep to their word for more than a month.

Well, that's not really the situation (if we can call it that) here... There's only one comic team member who makes comics often (Bjorn) and then we got Simon making once in a while, but no more.

I think Warts would be a great addition. Plus, he has really wanted to be a comic team member for a really long time. So, everybody would win with Warts on the team. Didn't he make like, 2 or 3 comics just this week?
