You can probably tell by my post on page 43, I love Weird Al. So yeah, I am so looking forward to July 15th.
Also, I was wondering, how many people here know of this guy? He's a British geeky rap guy, and I love every syllable of it. _________________ Replaying the secret location because I forgot all the passwords |

I'm just here to say i found a genre(?) of music called black midi/black score a couple days ago and its. impressive. heres a video explaining it
basically black midi songs are made from layering loads of midis on top of each other and shortening the notes, and they tend to have like, anywhere from 200,000 notes to a million notes to a billion. so they're not only impossible to play on real life instruments, but they can, in the more extreme cases, crash a persons computer when they try to play them.
some examples here, here, and here.
and also, someone made let it go, and wrecking ball in black midi. because this is the internet. _________________ [they/them pronouns] |

So I spent an entire day making a list of 1000 songs I've ever enjoyed through my whole life up to now. I don't even like half of these now (Yeah because i'm obvs still obsessed with the Hannah Montana and Camp Rock soundtrack hahaha...)
Have a look and comment on anything you like too if you want (Comments are turned on) and just.. tell me if there's anything you think I'd like.
I'm into alternative now, I guess.
And love songs.
SORRY NOT SORRY

Also I apologise for some of the titles, some of them are probably inappropriate (Blame Nirvana mostly) |

Hey all!
I know I already posted this in the randomness thread, but I want to bring it to this thread too.
For the past (almost) year, I have started a band with a couple of friends and we have spent the summer/fall/winter writing songs and recording demo tracks.
We are in the process of scheduling recording times at a studio (that Frank Iero is currently practicing/recording for all of you MCR fans) and plan to have our first EP mastered and open to the public by the end of the Summer.
Any support or even collective criticism on our sound would be appreciated. We are currently in the process of cleaning up our vocals and solidifying our songs so any feedback would be great.
So if you could take the time and give us a listen or even a like on our facebook page, we would truly appreciate that.

Heya Warts! I listened to your demos and I was genuinely impressed! It's a good sound you have made, all I'll say is something doesn't quite sound right in terms of the final mix, but I can't put my finger on it.
Keep it up! Look forward to hearing the finished product. |

Thanks!
We are missing a lot in the demos we have posted (considering they are all electronic mixes made by one person) but we are half way done recording a demo that has all of us playing and our actual singer. I'll try to get a clip out there as soon as we can to show off our real sound. _________________

Very reminiscent of the rentals without the moog. With a bit of shoegaze thrown in. _________________
