I don't think I've waited longer for anything in my life and been this satisfied. Amazing. Discuss.

The only two parts I didn't like were the Colonel and Michelle Rodriguez's character. The colonel was cliche with zero depth (even Parker showed some remorse and second thoughts), and Rodriguez plays the same part in every movie. I was a bit worried when we were first introduced to Sully, but everything seemed to work. Every time I thought I saw the tiniest plot-hole or absurdity (as is common with massive movies trimmed down), Cameron proved me wrong.

Many parts made it seem like a Lion King or Tarzan for the new millennium. The political message was blatant, but powerful. The 3D was great, but there are still a few kinks to work out with depth and perspective.

Go see it.

The movie is that good, that it deserves it's own topic.

There were loads of good movies over the last decade. There shouldn't be like a topic for every great movie... WallE was a good movie, did it get its own topic? No. 2012 was a good movie, did it get its own topic? No, again. It doesn't mean it should deserve its own topic... Confused

Twitter users are saying what a load of rubbish it is. Convincing.

No it wasn't.

This is a milestone in American cinema. You clearly have not seen the movie, or have had your head in the sand for the past year and have not noticed the ridiculous amount of hype.

Captin, a large portion of Twitter users are interested in what Ashton Kutcher is doing at every waking moment. See the movie and makeup your own mind instead of letting millions of idiots make it for you.

OK, maybe it wasn't for some people. But Nevermind that. How about we replace 2012... with whatever else movie was a great hit.

I completely agree with Pancake. This movie is an epically good movie. It deserves it's own thread.

I haven't been to see it yet, but other websites have trailers and footage of the film.

I'll happily oblige.
Nah, not really. You're too nice. Instead, I'll just destroy all of the imax theaters near you that are showing it.
