Punchline: 1/10 | Weight: 5
Editing: 7.5/10 | Weight: 3
Layout: 10/10 | Weight: 2

5+22.5+20/50+30+20=47.5/100

Needs Major Overhaul

Punchline: Tree gag: Overused
Ghost gag: Had no turn from the tree gag (Please, in the future, and to all future comicmakers, AVOID THE TREE GAG. IT ALWAYS LEADS TO FAILURE.)
Editing: Ghost would make more sense if person was sitting (since ghost always stands on the floor.)

I hope that this helped not just you, but (obviously) other comicmakers.
If not, here are the main points:
1. Read past comics. Find funny things that are
a) Not overused
b) Witty
2. If and/or when you do, then either find a way to
a) Revive the joke
b) Create a spinoff
3. If you are looking for a new joke,
a) Find inferences between common BTC items (e.g. what they do, where they go, etc.) and link it to a joke.
b) Always be as immaculate as possible, especially if (gulp) I happen to pass by.
WHICH I WILL, GUARANTEED. (Just joking.) But immaculacy counts in some, if not many, people's opinions.

If you read the comic more carefully, he's actually making fun of the tree gag. Simon himself says that's a old joke in the comic it self!
