I am maybe going to make Star Wars 7 and I wonder how to make good lightsabers and lasers. |

For the lightsaber you want a long rectangle, that is rounded at the top. Then add a blur to it. For the handle, I suggest a rectangle with a shallow gradient on it, going horizontally.
Pretty much the same with lasers, except no handle. |

Do you have permission from the Star Wars franchise company? Because Im pretty sure it has copy-right restrictions. Its against copy-right law to use characters, story, etc. without permission. |

It´s just for the family. Okay then, it will be a Star Wars fanfilm. |

Oh silly me. You are not going to release it commercially.
Sabers: Glow-in-the-dark sticks.
Lasers: Torches with the bulb covered in see-through coloured plastic wrap? |

How much are they? Otherwise I can animate all laser sequences. |

Ah right. To get the best out of it, animating lasers and lightsaber glows would be the best.
Just use a thin torch for the handle of the lightsaber. _________________ Twitter |

I thought of plastic tubes, or soda cans wrapped in electrical tape. |

Costumes are very basic for Star Wars. Even the robots and when in doubt, be funny. _________________ ^captincroc |

In my experience, creative ideas work better then being told what to do. _________________ ^captincroc |
