Ive nearly finsihed the second loop of the saga - few chapters from the end og breaking dawn! - and unless i get the dvd soon im going to go insane due to separation anxiety! XO

I think I'll have a shot at ranting as well, and try to keep it in a respective border Kawaii

Twilight, for me, was killed by every single girl I knew constantly talking about it and starting these "Teams" where really they didn't do anything different other than say "Oh I'm in team Emmet." I didn't ever understand what was so good about it, so I asked one of the many hardcore fans at my school, she said "Because it's a romantic, original love story!" which made no sense because it's not at all original. It's basically just like this:

New girl, sees guy, likes guy, they get together, something stupid keeps them apart, except in Twilight it's more like "Something stupid is there just as a gimmick for people to buy the books and movies."

One day, my brother had a few friends over and one of them brought Twilight over on DVD for some reason, so we ordered P'Zones (Woooh) and watched it. Here's the entire movie:

Two below average level actors sitting next to each other "Talking" which really just consists of them staring at each other with their shoulders all cocked up and not actually saying anything. This somehow leads them to believe they are amazingly in love so the guy takes her to the woods and starts shouting about something uninteresting and starting glowing. Then they played baseball so they had to rescue the girl oh no! Then they were at a warehouse and everyone was there and there was an "action" scene where they just jumped from one wall to the other to pin each other down, but oh no! The girl was bit so then the guy had to suck her blood but he drank too much while they tore apart the other guys body or something, so then it was at a hospital and they went to a boring prom full of other people who are impossibly pale.

Oh, what fun that was.

Whenever I mention the the acting for all of them was very far below par, everyone always seems to blame the director, but they can't back that up with proof, because the only person in that movie that had acted before (To my knowledge) was Robert Pattinson (Edward) who apparently played as Colin Diggory or something in Harry Potter but his part was so small that I couldn't event remember who the character was/did.

Stewart's a very talented actress, and though her skills might be going to waste with this franchise, it's certainly a MAJOR boost in her career.

Well, she ceeeertainly didn't show it in Twilight. Hated the movie.

As for the series, it was disappointing. The first book was okay, but after that, they just kept getting worse. I'll stop there. This thread doesn't need any more bashing.

It's a pity so many people hate the movie/books. I think this whole "team whatever" thing is pretty stupid, but I liked the movie and I enjoyed the books.
If there weren't crazy Twilight fangirls in every school in the country, perhaps Twilight would have a better reputation.
