As everybody knows, mods are very hard working people. So maybe there should be some people who only have one power.
Someone who can do reports, someone who can approve images and signatures and avatars, someone who can ghost and kick. Just to take a load off their shoulders.

This actually is a pretty good idea. Specific jobs for people would be great, and maybe then the people who were doing those jobs would be pretty much the list of people who could be future mods.

Sounds like an excuse to get more mods without having actually more mods.
If somebody is good enough to deal with reports, judge a picture appropriate/inappropriate, or kick/ban someone out, they should be able to do the other tasks as well. Which would give us a perfectly able, full-level mod.
For this reason, I vote no.

Well you see, that's just the thing.
If someone can have really good judgment on inappropriate/appropriate pictures, but not very good judgment on whether or not someone is breaking rules, this is what they what get.
We can call them, demi-mods.

Well you see, that's just the thing.

I do not think there is such think as different kinds of judgements on these things. It's mainly a state of the mind and a way to behave.

Mods have already an application list, if somebody had to get even semi-powers, it would be a person from there.
And I think they're doing just fine. You just want your own piece of heaven.
